At imm cologne 2018, e15 introduces solid wood table ASHIDA and stackable chair HENNING by Philipp Mainzer. The company also celebrates 120 years Ferdinand Kramer® with a special edition of coffee table CALVERT.
Inspired by Japanese carpentry, table ASHIDA emphasises e15’s philosophy of pure use of materials and balanced proportions to make a highly functional table for private or contract spaces. With its two central brackets, ASHIDA is ideally suited as a conference table with concealed wire management.
Also debuting at imm cologne is table KAZIMIR by Philipp Mainzer. Referencing Suprematist compositions, KAZIMIR is presented in a new range of exclusive materials such as galvanised zinc, blackened steel and brushed brass.
Chair HENNING with its minimal and linear silhouette unifies a shaped solid wood seat and backrest with powder-coated steel or brushed stainless steel frame. HENNING is a comfortable and elegant stackable chair that serves various interior purposes.
With the new releases 2018, e15 builds on its distinct collection and maintains a comprehensive approach to interiors, reflecting the brand’s philosophy based on quality and consistent, progressive design.
120 years Ferdinand Kramer®
Celebrating Ferdinand Kramer’s 120th birthday, e15 releases the iconic CALVERT as a chess game table, based on a cardboard picnic version Kramer originally proposed for Coca-Cola in 1951. CALVERT CHESS features a silkscreen black chessboard printed on natural oak or neon red lacquer and is available throughout 2018.
Exhibition design PHILIPP MAINZER
Consistent with e15’s simple and powerful presentation style, PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN establishes a diagonal principal for this year’s fair stand, combining the concrete floor of the exhibition hall with skewed walls that open up to white spaces. Intriguing perspectives structure the visitor’s view on e15 furniture, lighting and accessories.
