For the second issue of AD New Perspectives, German Architectural Digest Magazine collaborated with Munich-based real estate developer Bauwerk. Ten German interior studios were commissioned to furnish an apartment on the top floor of the new Van B project in Munich-Schwabing according to their own ideas.
BATEK ARCHITEKTEN from Berlin present a concept that picks up on the diversity of the German capital: Warm materials and colors such as the whitewashed oak floor, cream-colored walls and a beige lacquered kitchen block contrast with colorfully assembled pieces of natural stone on aluminum honeycomb panels, visible structural wood and untreated zinc panels.
