During Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week e15 presents REVOLTE, one of the three new carpets by artist Carsten Fock for E15 SELECTED in its showroom on Via Tortona.
NEUE HEIMAT, ALTER EGO and REVOLTE are hand knotted, fine wool carpets created for E15 SELECTED in a limited edition of seven carpets per artwork, each piece signed and numbered by the artist. In a nod to historic tapestries, pen on paper drawings from Carsten Fock’s “deutschlanddeutschland” series take new form and distinction in this new medium. Evoking associations to Nietzsche’s existential philosophy, but also topics of hope, faith, power, anxiety and despair, the artist leaves a personal, powerful and enduring mark.
