Xue Xue is Taiwan’s first private academy dedicated entirely to the creative arts, design and culture. Central to the interior concept for the ten-story building was the idea of promoting communication between different user groups to enhance interdisciplinary exchange as a basis for better working and learning – moving from traditional podium-style lecturing towards a more active and lively exchange of ideas between professors and students. e15 designed all areas of the institute, amongst others the multimedia gallery and shop on the ground floor, the restaurant in the first floor as well as classrooms on the upper floors. In addition to the interior design, the e15 team was also responsible for the planning and execution of all furniture and complemented own designs with products of other European companies such as Fritz Hansen, Moroso and Minotti.
