e15 celebrates its 20th year with the opening of a new showroom in the heart of Milan’s popular Zona Tortona district. The 160 sqm space on Via Tortona 34 as an internationally representative show space for e15, will host a diverse range of exhibitions and events featuring e15’s artistic collaborations as well as a comprehensive presentation of the furniture featuring new releases, lighting and accessory collections.
The generous and central space, managed by e15 representative Canova, features an inspiring industrial space with a shed roof allowing for ideal lighting. The new showroom is positioned at a cosy courtyard typical for Milan. All aspects of the space reflect perfectly e15’s approach to quality of space and material incorporating historical elements.
To celebrate the opening on 20 November, e15 presents the first of a series of highlights marking the company’s anniversary with its first table, BIGFOOT™ designed by the company’s founder and architect Philipp Mainzer and the BIGFOOT™ Anniversary Edition in collaboration with LA based artist Geoff McFetridge.
Artist and illustrator Geoff McFetridge creates a limited edition BIGFOOT™ with laser etched figures covering the underside of the table. The artwork focuses on the table’s patron, the creature Bigfoot believed to inhabit forests, mainly in the Northwest region of America. A limited edition of 94 tables referring to the table’s year of design will be produced.
