e15 designs dining chair, bar stool and table for Stanley Diamond restaurant
Named after an American-Jewish gangster born in New York of the 1920s, Stanley Diamond is the latest project by the Frankfurt based Ardinast brothers and Oskar Melzer. For James and David Ardinast who are well established in Frankfurt’s food scene, the restaurant on Ottostraße is their second collaboration with Oskar Melzer, who also operates “Mogg & Melzer” in Berlin.
For their new restaurant, Stanley Diamond, the founders followed a progressive interior concept coupled with a luxuriously comfortable dining experience. An intriguing combination of contrast in materials and modernist architecture inform the design of the interior.
Inspired by the idea of an unhurried dining experience and lingering comfort, e15 developed the generously proportioned upholstered chair and barstool with backrest. With an understated presence, the upholstered seating offers great comfort and supports an elegant interior. The modernist inspired fabric BRASILIA , which is exclusively woven for e15, intriguing shades of denim blue or deep reds harmonise with the entire space.
For e15, collaboration with the Ardinast brothers and Oskar Melzer was an instinctive and enjoyable experience. Not only for the impressive interior concept of Stanley Diamond, which boldly focuses on a collage of materials but also the fact that the new restaurant is an exciting addition to the Frankfurt dining scene.
