e15 marks its twentieth year with a special collaboration with British architect David Chipperfield. In presentations at Salone del Mobile and in the e15 showroom on Via Tortona, e15 will also showcase a comprehensive collection of furniture, lighting and accessories during Milan Design Week 2015.
David Chipperfield for e15
In Milan e15 debuts a special collaboration with architect David Chipperfield. Progressive design coupled with quality construction and elegant use of material is the hallmark of e15 furniture and David Chipperfield’s prolific work in architecture. The new product family consisting of a solid wood table, bench and stool distinctly features the pure use of material and a clear design language, which are shared aesthetics of e15 and David Chipperfield. Originally conceived for an architectural project in the English countryside, the table FAYLAND elegantly highlights linear forms and a clear structural concept. Oriented to the design of table FAYLAND, David Chipperfield completes the solid wood family for e15 with bench FAWLEY and stool LANGLEY. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white pigmented surfaces, the product family is also offered in black, highlighting the elegant silhouette.

Reflecting the clear design language of the brand, this year’s exhibition design features interlocking rooms, which unfold into diverse zones for the new releases and a curated selection of e15 furniture, lighting and accessories. White walls and raw concrete floor with informative graphics in individual settings showcase the strength and distinct character of the brand while providing intriguing architectural viewpoints. The anniversary fair stand is designed in collaboration with PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN.
