At imm cologne, e15 showcases modular sofa KERMAN and introduces a new addition to its accessory collection.
Celebrating the debut of KERMAN by Philipp Mainzer and Farah Ebrahimi at imm cologne, the brand’s presentation centres around various combinations of the different seating modules, armrests and poufs, highlighting the versatile character of the sofa system. The interplay of juxtaposing tones, textures and patterns with the sculpted silhouette of KERMAN makes the installation a highlight in the brand’s exhibition design.
Extending the e15 collection of accessories, MOBY is a playful solid wood object designed by Paul Louda as part of the collaboration between e15 and ÉCAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne for Milan Design Week 2016. Further, complementing e15’s series of stoneware, a small and a large cup have been added to the SALINA series.
Focussing on its philosophy of creating consistent, progressive design coupled with high-grade materials and hand-crafted production methods, e15’s presentation at imm cologne 2017 is a statement for real life and living needs.
e15 X Elbphilharmonie
For the new concert hall ‘Elbphilharmonie’ in Hamburg, German designers Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau together with architect Daniel Schöning developed an interior concept including a range of custom furniture. In collaboration with e15, they realised a product family consisting of a high table, side table and bench for the foyers of the concert hall as well as a series of glass tables for the sky lounge. At imm cologne, e15 showcases the side table and high table with marble top as well as the bench with upholstered seat in Kvadrat’s fabric Basel which was specified in the foyers. With their black and white powder-coated steel base and exchangeable surfaces, the pieces are ideally suitable for contract purposes.
Exhibition design by PHILIPP MAINZER
Reflecting e15’s consistent and progressive design language, PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN developed a minimal fair stand merging sculptural elements with simple materials such as chip board and white dividing structures on the existing black concrete floor of the exhibition hall, creating a simple and striking platform for the presentation of e15 furniture, accessories and lighting.
