At imm cologne, e15 showcases a range of new releases and continues its collaboration with British architect David Chipperfield.
With a clear design language highlighting the pure use of material and craftsmanship, solid wood coffee table LEIGHTON and sideboard DRAYTON by David Chipperfield are an extension of the product family which debuted during Milan Design Week 2015.
Also on show will be the new table HOLBORN, solid marble ENOKI MIGOTO side tables, the extended oval shaped marble table HIROKI as well as a series of stoneware inspired by traditional pottery from the Frankfurt region. Featuring handmade cylindrical forms, the SALINA series consists of six forms allowing for diverse applications. Further extending the e15 collection of accessories, DOTTO is a playful blanket combining bright colours and an intriguing feel of the surface. MR B and BIG B, two well-crafted and amusing solid oak objects inspired by the patron of table BIGFOOT™, are also presented in Cologne.
With the new releases 2016, e15 builds on its comprehensive collection of furniture, accessories and lighting, highlighting the philosophy of consistent, progressive design coupled with high-grade materials and handcrafted production methods.
20 years BACKENZAHN™
2016 marks the twentieth year of stool BACKENZAHN™, a modern design classic and identifiable icon for e15. Designed by e15 co-founder and architect Philipp Mainzer, BACKENZAHN™ signifies the design language of the brand by playfully pairing essential forms and pure materials. Made from solid oak or walnut, the reduced design highlights the characteristic cracks and unique natural markings of solid wood.
e15 will celebrate two decades of BACKENZAHN™ with a series of presentations throughout the year. For the Stylepark Featured Editions at imm cologne, the brand showcases the iconic stool in a humorous and poignant installation exploring the topics intellectual property and copyright infringement.

Consistent with the clear and progressive design language of the brand, PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN incorporates the existing concrete floors of the exhibition hall to provide a simple and modern platform for the presentation. Allowing for intriguing architectural viewpoints, a series of high white walls unfold into spaces with a striking and simple feel for showcasing the selection of e15 furniture, accessories and lighting.
