In Cologne e15 unveils three unique products by German designer Jörg Schellmann. With clear, composed forms the distinct solid wood table PLATZ and bench SITZ as well as the shelf PROFIL in aluminium are unique additions to the collection.
E15 also presents its accessory collection designed by e15’s creative director Philipp Mainzer, designers Mark Braun and Jan Philip Holler. A comprehensive range of accessories with character in premium materials for living and office, mark the start of an extensive e15 accessory collection.
New releases for e15 by Jörg Schellmann
e15 introduces three distinct products by German designer Jörg Schellmann. Solid wood table PLATZ and bench SITZ complement e15’s range of working and dining solutions. A diagonal bar dominates the form and character of PLATZ and SITZ whilst guaranteeing high stability and formal distinctness. Two additional heights and optional drawers for the table further allow for diverse applications in a work or dining context.
With PROFIL e15 presents a shelf with sculptural appeal that offers elegant storage and display possibilities, evoking associations with minimal art. Open for individual colour and composition, the aluminium shelf PROFIL is produced in one piece by way of extrusion; a process used to create objects of a fixed cross-sectional profile, forming finished parts with excellent surface finish.
With the new releases 2014 e15 highlights a comprehensive range of premium furniture, emphasizing principles of enduring design in combination with high grade materials and innovative, handcraft production methods.
Launch of the e15 accessory collection
E15 introduces a comprehensive collection of accessories designed by architect Philipp Mainzer and designers Mark Braun and Jan Philip Holler. Elegant and functional products with character in premium materials for living and office mark the start of an extensive accessory collection, to be expanded over the coming years. A range of cutting boards, trays and bowls are presented in playful and sculptural forms made of solid wood or marble, all reflecting e15’s distinct design aesthetic. Book ends from finest Italian marble, tray dividers and architectural paper weight houses from solid brass, European walnut and oak luxuriously structure the perfect clean desk and office situations.
The new collection of accessories together with the existing range of blankets in fine wool and cashmere, along with cushions in e15’s signature range of Tartans and colours in modern textures represent an extensive collection of accessories that enrich the pleasures of living, cooking and working.
Exhibition design by PHILIPP MAINZER
At IMM Cologne 2014, e15 showcases an exhibition design by PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN. Structured into individual settings, the stand unfolds from the centre in different directions, creating intriguing viewpoints. The exhibition showcases the products in interlocking rooms, accentuating the modern aesthetic of the collection set against light grey walls. Informative graphics on the walls in white typography in combination with the black concrete floor lend the presentation a refined character.
