David Chipperfield for e15

e15 further celebrates its twentieth anniversary with the release of a new product family designed by David Chipperfield

In 2015, e15 celebrates its twentieth year featuring a collaboration with the renowned British architect David Chipperfield. The product family consisting of a solid wood table, bench and stool distinctly features the pure use of material and a clear design language, which are shared aesthetics of e15 and David Chipperfield. Originally conceived for an architectural project in the English countryside, the table FAYLAND elegantly highlights linear forms and a clear structural concept. Oriented to the design of table FAYLAND, David Chipperfield completes the solid wood family for e15 with bench FAWLEY and stool LANGLEY. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white stained surfaces, the product family is also offered in black, highlighting the elegant silhouette.

Progressive design coupled with quality construction and elegant use of material is the hallmark of e15 furniture and David Chipperfield’s prolific work in architecture. e15 is proud to further celebrate its twentieth year with this special collaboration, which originates from the shared appreciation of enduring design and a comprehensive approach to diverse environments.

DC01 FAYLAND, table

Originally conceived for an architectural project in the English countryside, table FAYLAND features the pure use of material and a clear design language, which are shared aesthetics of e15 and David Chipperfield. Made of solid wood, the constructive details are at the core of its refined and elegant design: a horizontal bar with centred support provides stability while the table ends overlap the frame, providing additional seating space. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white pigmented surfaces, e15 also offers a black version, which elegantly features the silhouette of the table.

DC02 FAWLEY, bench

The bench FAWLEY elegantly features a linear form referring to the structural principle of the table FAYLAND. Highlighting stability and comfort, a signature horizontal bar dominates the character of the solid wood bench. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white pigmented surfaces, FAWLEY is also offered in black, highlighting its silhouette.

DC03 LANGLEY, stool / side table

With a focus on the essentials and a clear design language, LANGLEY elegantly features solid wood in its purest form. With its structural concept and linear form oriented to the design of the FAYLAND table, LANGLEY is a versatile stool or side table. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white pigmented surfaces, LANGLEY is also offered in black, highlighting its silhouette.
