To mark our 30th anniversary, we are delighted to present WERKSCHAU e15 / Michael Riedel. A distinctive encounter between the conceptual practice of Michael Riedel and the e15 collection.
Riedel’s work, blurring the boundaries between applied graphics and free art, entered into a subtle dialogue with e15’s material‑driven, minimalist design. Classics from our archive stand alongside newer additions, all defined by craftsmanship, natural materials, and architectural clarity.
Our collaboration with Michael Riedel goes back years, most notably in the creation of the Riedel Table (2016), a project that exemplifies the seamless integration of artistic vision and functional design. The table remains a testament to this enduring dialogue and reflects the ideas that have quietly shaped e15 since 1995.
Through his gestures, Riedel questions authorship, reproduction, and the very notion of the original. The exhibition invites reflection on the intersection of design and conceptual thought.
