REVIEW – review – e15 at Salone del Mobile 2022 and 3daysofdesign

At Salone del Mobile, e15 presented its latest collaborations with designer Jonas Lutz and architects Spacon & X, as well as showcased new materials and fresh adaptations on e15 classics. The e15 space, designed by e15 founder and architect Philipp Mainzer together with designer and art director Farah Ebrahimi, was architecturally arranged in various zones for living and working with simple and striking contrast between the furniture and their materiality with the surroundings. The original concrete floor of the exhibition hall was preserved for its modern aesthetic, as well as consideration for sustainability in the minimum use of materials applied during an impermanent fair.

With focus on the fundamental beauty of natural materials and craftsmanship, e15 introduced lounge chair ILMA by Finnish designer Jonas Lutz, and GAMAR, which is a collection of chair, stool and wardrobe stand by Danish design and architecture studio Spacon & X. e15 also featured new materials and design adaptations on classics such as table HIROKI, which is now offered with oval top, and new modules for sofa SHIRAZ.

A material highlight for the collection is onyx, chosen in jade green or warm spice tones, the precious crystalline stone is native to central Asia. Onyx will be available in a range of objects including side table TORE by David Thulstrup as part of the E15 SELECTED collection.

In addition to our presentation at the fair, selected products from e15 were shown at MOHD Officina as part of an installation designed by Studiopepe.

At Christian Fischbacher showroom, where the Swiss textile editor introduced a new collection developed by architect Hadi Teherani with furniture scenes by e15.

During the 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, e15 teamed up with studio x to showcase new product launches.
