Material, proportion and radical simplicity.
BACKENZAHN™ takes on a sculptural presence at ANDREASMURKUDIS, presented in solid wood and newly interpreted in folded stainless steel.
Alongside it, the BIGFOOT™ table traces their shared origins. Designed by Philipp Mainzer in 1994, BIGFOOT established e15’s distinctive approach to solid wood. Conceived from the offcuts of its legs, BACKENZAHN followed in 1996.
On view at Potsdamer Straße 81, Berlin.
