In the much-anticipated third edition of “Le Cabinet de Curiosités de Thomas Erber” e15 showcases its light SEAM TWO in solid copper.
At the progressive retailer Andreas Murkudis in Berlin also the third edition of Le Cabinet de Curiosités curated by Thomas Erber will showcase unique or limited pieces and curiosities from the fields of art, design, apparel, high jewelry and watchmaking, travel, eroticism, photography, accessories, film and literature.
The light SEAM TWO in solid copper is a unique and refined piece. The combination of its precious material and high end artistry in the extremely complex and elaborate production, distinguishes the light SEAM TWO in copper as an exclusive object. Made from solid 2 mm thick copper sheets, the light consists of three flat pieces, which are cut into shape with a water jet cutting machine. Using a cutting pattern, the advanced machine cuts the special contours with extreme precision, without causing discolouring on the sensitive material. Subsequently, the precise copper sheets are bent into shape and then polished elaborately to achieve the light’s final brilliance. A tag with individual serial number proves the authenticity of the piece.
