As part of the exhibition “Rejected / Accepted” at the New Museum For Art and Design Nuremberg, the new lounge chair THAT, jewellery case JEWEL and chair HOUIDNI are on display.
Curated by the New Collection – The International Design Museum Munich – and the New Museum For Art and Design Nuremberg in cooperation with Atelier Steffen Kehrle, the exhibtion “Rejected / Accepted” does not define itself as a presentation of failed pieces, however as an appraisal of creative work. The installation “Rejected” symbolically plays with the death of an idea and comprises designs, films, music and texts by designers and artists. With the motto “Accepted” the second part of the exhibition emphasises the approach of “Rejected” and presents realised works of the same designers and artists.
After Nuremberg, the exhibition will be showcased at Designblok in Prague at the Czech Centre (from 4 October 2013).
