Chessboard NONA is a tactile and generous playing surface crafted from two layers of natural harness leather with precise stitching and waxed edges. The refined leather construction is intended to age beautifully with time and use. NONA is named in appreciation of the first woman to be awarded the International Grandmaster title in 1978.

Chessboard NONA is developed with attention to proportion and scale in relation to the corresponding set of wooden chess figures NONA, which is hand-made in lacquered oak and is available separately.
