THE FERDINAND KRAMER® COLLECTION

DAYBED FK01 THEBAN

FK02 KARNAK features Ferdinand Kramer’s masterful grip on simplicity. The linear profile of FK02 KARNAK is boldly reduced to the essentials, featuring a gently curved backrest and hand woven seat, providing considerable comfort. With its spare and refined aesthetic, the chair FK02 KARNAK is a signature piece and available in waxed solid European oak or European walnut.

STOOL FK03 ASWAN
The simple and elegant stool FK03 ASWAN features a hand woven seat surface finished in a textile band or vegetable tanned leather. COFFEE TABLE FK04 CALVERT
FK04 CALVERT is from a series of coffee tables, designed in 1951 by Ferdinand Kramer® during his time in America. Part of his successful “Knock-Down” furniture series, the square FK04 CALVERT is an enduring and modern piece. The easily invertible and collapsible coffee table consists of a tabletop and two crossing invertible sheets serving as a base for the table. Similar to a clothing pattern, the components of the table are cut out of a single plywood sheet. The intrinsically simple cut out base of FK04 CALVERT reveals a sculptural quality to the table. E15 offers the re-edition or in oak or walnut veneer, clear lacquered and a variety of coloured lacquer.

COFFEE TABLE FK05 CHARLOTTE
FK05 CHARLOTTE is the second from a series of coffee tables, designed in 1951 by Ferdinand Kramer® during his time in America. Named after his friend, the artist Charlotte Poseneske, the round coffee table bares sculptural qualities grounded in enduring and contemporary relevance. Similar to a clothing pattern, the table’s components are cut out of a single plywood sheet. The easily invertible and collapsible FK05 CHARLOTTE is also part of Ferdinand Kramer’s® successful “Knock-Down” series. The measurements of the base are identical to those of the square FK04 CALVERT. Its round table top, however makes FK05 CHARLOTTE the larger of the two coffee tables. E15 offers the re-edition of FK05 CHARLOTTE in oak or walnut veneer, clear lacquered or in a variety of coloured lacquer.

TABLE FK06 ALDEN
Designed in 1942, the table FK06 ALDEN from the „Knock-Down“ series by Ferdinand Kramer® is a distinctive example of the well-proportioned and constructive finesse of his designs. Part of a furniture series for inside and outside conceived during his time in America, FK06 ALDEN captivates with the balance between the 30 mm thick tabletop and the connecting V-shaped legs.

TABLE FK07 FRANKFURT
The iconic table FK07 FRANKFURT by Ferdinand
Kramer® is an especially significant example of his progressive and enduring designs. Designed in 1959 as part of the “Knock-Down” series for the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt, the precise form with the signature corner detail accentuates the unique character of the table. The triangle-connection is simultaneously a stabilising factor. With a powder-coated MDF tabletop or lacquered oak-veneer, the re-edition offers a variety of finishes as well as a range of colours for the powder-coated steel frame.

COAT RACK FK08 UNI
FK08 UNI is a simple and remarkably modern coat rack, designed by Ferdinand Kramer® around 1954 as part of a family of products for the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt. CM07 OPEN is universally applicable, in particular for the office area for the desk or as a tray for the living area.

FABRICS WEFT AND MOON
With the aim to provide contemporary fabrics that reflect historic methods of weaving and e15’s pure aesthetic, the fabrics WEFT and MOON were developed by Farah Ebrahimi exclusively for e15. Named after the old English word for “that which is woven”, WEFT is based on a simple and ancient weaving technique of two interlacing sets of threads at right angles to each other: the warp which runs longitudinally is in natural linen and the weft, that crosses it is in a matt and shine mix of yarns in exuberant shades. MOON, the more elaborate of the two fabrics, is a subtle, textured weave formed in a diamond-shaped pattern. Woven with a blend of linen and viscose, MOON is a particularly interesting and sophisticated weave yet subtle enough not to overtake the product it is upholstered in.
